Stefo Tech

About

Brad Stefo. One operator who has actually run the systems.

Stefo Tech is Brad Stefo. Twenty-five years of running real environments, from cloud platforms and identity to networks and the custom tools that make support easier. Today that includes operating the infrastructure behind a production, multi-tenant healthcare SaaS: cloud platform, container orchestration, identity, releases, and incident response. When you hire Stefo Tech, you get the person who does the work, not a layer of account managers in front of one.

I have spent twenty-five years where infrastructure, business process, and operational reality meet. The unglamorous middle: the cloud platforms, the identity systems, the networks, the backups, the documentation that decides whether a business keeps running on a bad day. Right now that means running platform operations for a production healthcare SaaS, the kind of environment where uptime, privacy, and auditability are not optional.

That work taught me a default way of operating. Understand the system before touching it. Define the boundary. Make the work repeatable. Document the path so it does not live only in my head. Keep people protected while the hard thing gets done.

The tools came out of that. Every Stefo Tech tool started as a real client problem, a fragile spreadsheet ritual that deserved to be software. I build them browser-only for the same reason I run infrastructure carefully: sensitive data should stay where it belongs. The tools are not the business. They are proof of how the business thinks.

Stefo Tech is deliberately one person. That means you work directly with whoever is making the decisions, the scope is honest, and nothing gets lost in a handoff. It also means I will tell you when a problem does not need me, or needs less of me than you expected.

It is also a family business in the plainest sense. Stefo Tech is how my family bet on itself, built in South Central Pennsylvania, one well-run system at a time. When you hire me, your environment is not an account number in a queue. It is part of how I take care of the people I am responsible for, and I treat it that way.

How I think about the work

A few principles that hold up in the real world.

Documentation

Reliability you can hand off

A system is not truly supportable until someone other than me can understand how it is wired, configured, and recovered.

Privacy

Keep data where it belongs

The simplest way to manage a category of risk is to never take it on. It is why the tools are browser-only and why I am careful with sensitive environments.

Automation

Leverage, not magic

The best automation speeds up planning, validation, and repeatable work without hiding the actual logic from the people who depend on it.

Let us figure out if I am the right fit.

Tell me about the environment and the outcome you want. If it is not something I should take on, I will tell you that too.
